New Year's Day
Well, it's New Year's Day and I'm not hungover. As a matter of fact, I was in bed before 10 P.M. last night. The scotch I bought for the special occasion tasted like horse sweat, even with a generous portion of club soda. I don't understand the fanaticism with this liquor. Its taste must be why Scotsmen are always so angry; they don't have a palatable source of alcohol in their country.
I choked down as much as I could, then went to sleep in the guest bedroom with Molly, who currently finds sleeping in her own bed too scary. I guess those Disney movies are more frightful than I remember. Ever seen Sleeping Beauty? That dragon gave me the willies.
Did you know you can't buy a lot of Disney movies except when they decide to release them for a limited time? I didn't know that, but I wanted my girls to start watching the good stuff, like Cinderalla and Snow White. Silly corporation, don't you know that artificial scarcity is a thing of the past?Posted by tat at January 1, 2008 11:36 AM
