18 Months Old

Molly was born eighteen months ago today. I understand now the adage "They grow like weeds." She does and says something new every day now, climbing on things and asking for a diaper change. Remarkable.

School begins tomorrow, and I have to admit I'm ready. Last year was miserable from a professional standpoint because of my attitude, but I feel like a different person this year, what with exercising, losing, weight, and raising Molly. The days of worry and nights of sleeplessness are behind us now, at least until baby number two shows up...

I expect to pick up my former blogging pace when school begins, which is to say I'll be posting at least weekly. I have sworn off reading about politics, though, so I must admit a lack of daily outrage to foment writing, but I'm gonna explore other areas of interest for me. Stay tuned.
