One Less Wire for Molly

molly_smiling_small.jpgAnother day, another monitoring wire is removed from Molly. Today it's the oxymeter, which monitored her blood's oxygen content, tomorrow it may be the IV tube. Molly's food intake increased to 18cc with a higher calorie formula. We'll be trying to feed via bottle soon.

She appears to be on the accelerated ICU graduation plan. The nurses all sound optimistic about her progress, and her face is looking more like baby and less like miniature old man.

Sweet Molly, Our thoughts and prayers are continually with you and Mommy and Daddy. This has been the longest week since leaving the 3 of you. Thank God his care goes much further than a grandmothers . Hang in there . Take care of each other. Please get the rest you all need. This time will pass quickly, and Miss Molly will be ruling the roost. Love you. Mammaw and Pappaw

She is already beautiful and I know she will grow more so with each new pound. My prayers are with you. I can't really believe little Denise is a Mom now. Take care.
