Champeen of the World

molly_2_25_small.jpgThe big news today was, well, poopy. Shortly after I arrived, the nurse observed emphatically that Molly, "Let loose the biggest poopy I've ever seen a baby that small produce." My father's heart was warmed.

I immediately flashed to those one second nightmares I suspect are only beginning for me as a parent. Cue the ring announcer: "And now, in this corner, weighing in at a svelte 3 and 1/2 pounds, World Poopy Champeeeeeen of the Worrrrrrrld, Moooooollly "The Reliever" Daaaaaaaaaaaaaavvvvvvvviiiiissssssss."

The IV got capped today, too. She's eating a little more, 20cc, every three hours and tolerating it well. Her face is developing almost by the hour, and her hair has lightened to a light brown similar to Denise. All good news.
