Tummy Infection

We got a call about 4 a.m. from the NICU, who were concerned that Molly may have an infection in her stomach. They stopped feeding her through the tube, began IV feeding, and gave her some antibiotics. All seems well now, but they're still waiting on the cultures before feeding her again.

She's definitely not happy about not getting food. She cries a bit until she gets her pacifier, and sucks vigorously when it's in. A good sign. She even latched on to my finger when I offered it, which is a weird feeling.

On top of that, Molly is very active, moving all over her bed and constantly stretching her arms and legs and yawning. It's very funny to watch.

The camera's battery was dead, so no new pictures tonight. Sorry.
